I'll start off by saying that I know the server population has dipped slightly in the past few weeks. It could be due to the nicer weather causing people to venture out of their caves - away from their computers. It might also have to due with a lot of exams/midterms/finals happening at this time of the year. Whatever the case, you can help bring more players to the server!

I know many of you diligently vote for the server everyday and I thank you for that! Please continue to do so, even if you don't need the diamonds. Every vote helps SwaggerCraft gain more publicity. We are close to the front page on many server lists (and on the front page for a few!). More people playing means more for you to raid ;) I also ask you to take another step and leave awesome comments on the voting sites. Let people know that SwaggerCraft is the place to be!


And please, please, please, post on [our Minecraft Forums thread]!


I'm super busy with school right now so that's why I haven't been very active. However, I will be looking for more ways to advertise the server. Feel free to do the same! I just want to see SwaggerCraft continue to grow.

Trade plugin explained!

I just installed SpoutTrade (the name is misleading; it doesn't use Spout anymore)! This plugin lets you trade items with another player. This should eliminate scamming. If you don't want to click that link and read the developer's explanation, I'll do my best to simplify how to use the plugin.

The 4 commands available are:

• /trade {player}
• /trade accept
• /trade decline
• /trade ignore - this toggles whether or not you want to see trade requests

You have to be within in 20 blocks from the player to initiate the trade. 

If you initiate a trade by typing "/trade {player}" and they accept using "/trade accept", a virtual chest will pop up on both of your screens. The top half is where you place your items; the bottom half is where they will place their items. If you try to place your item in their slot, it will not let you.

When one player closes the chest screen, the trade will be pending with whatever items were in the chest. A message will be sent to both players describing exactly what items are being traded. You can then type "/trade accept" if the trade looks right. Or decline it with "/trade decline".

This plugin does not facilitate the transfer of money directly but I came up with an easy workaround. I have made Sponges in the shop buy/sell for 1k. So say you want to pay someone 50k for a god sword. You just buy 50 sponges and trade them that for it and they can go and sell it for 50k. I'm a genius.

/spawn is now available to all players! /warp shop has moved from [Swag] to [Iron]. [Swag] now has the new /warp westgate.

The server is back online!

I apologize for the down time. The DNS takes awhile to propagate so some will be able to connect with server.swaggercraft.com and some won't. If you can't connect with server.swaggercraft.com right now, use the direct IP: 67.222.150.133. 

No more line hopping at West Gate!

Due to popular demand, I built a...uh...stucture...that should prevent the infamous line hopping. This is only on West Side as this is where most PvP occurs. The glass is a guide for ladders. Leave a comment or email/tweet me for feedback.
